Our purpose
Korero Tupuna Trust is an educational organization based in New Zealand. Led by Mama Teremoana Hodges, a renowned teacher and educator of the Cook Islands Maori language, the trust aims to provide educational tools and a meeting place for beginners, learners, and teachers of the language.
We are a group of Cook Islands people who are very driven to learn our languages. We are also keen for future generations to keep the learning momentum going which starts in the home.
To grow and develop educational opportunities through the promotion of Cook Islands Languages and Culture.
To empower and support individuals, families and Enua Groups through language programmes to promote self-identity and wellbeing
